Went exploring and found some dirt. Got sideways. Good drive.
She’s been around the block a few times and might not be what she used to. Doesn’t mean its any less fun to toss around.

I still love the looks of the Crossfire but I’m a whore for all things art deco.
Pain to live with?

It rides rough. IMHO its worth when you get it on some twisties, but its not for everyone.
And just because you like art deco too …. some hood strakes for ya.

agree - always thought it was the better looking twin to it’s Benz stable mate.

I have still never figured out why they thought it was a good idea to make the crossfire ride like it has no suspension. A crossfire with benz-like suspension would’ve been way better. Surprisingly enough, the charger has a good balance - smooth and controlled. Rides like a properly broken-in benz from the passenger seat at least.
Look for aftermarket struts and springs and whatnot for what’s available. Would SLK suspension bolt into place?

I’ve seen a fair amount of reviews saying the SLK was never a great handler, probably was their attempt to make it good at one thing. But the fact the SRT has the same suspension and tire size says a lot. The ride is more suited to that imo.
But Im not going to mod the thing … actually making a “what should I buy” post later today.
